Dominic Johnson - Chief Executive Officer & Founder (15 years experience). Dominic graduated from Durham University in 1995. He has spent the last 14 years raising capital for various institutions in Asia, the USA and the UK starting with Robert Flemings in London in 1995 and Jardine Fleming in 1998. From 2001-2007 Dominic, with Jacob and Edward, built Lloyd George Management from $1.5bn under management to $16bn when he left in April 2007. Dominic, who founded Somerset Capital Management in 2007 is both the firm's Chief Executive Officer and Director of Marketing.

Edward Robertson - Lead Manager & Founder (16 years experience). Edward graduated in 1989 from the University of East Anglia. He worked in Hong Kong and London, before joining Lloyd George Management in 1999. Along with Jacob Rees-Mogg, Edward built the GEM product at Lloyd George Management. He also led the focus on the EMEA region and managed the top-performing Russian Fund - SIBINCO. Edward is lead manager for the EM large cap fund and co-manager of the EM Small Cap and Dividend Growth funds.

Mark Asquith - Lead Manager, Small Cap Fund (9 years experience). Mark graduated from St. Andrew's University in 2001 with a first class degree in English. Mark started his career at Lloyd George Management in London in September 2001. Whilst at Lloyd George Management he specialised in Latin American equities and oversaw the small cap fund. Between April and August 2007 (before joining Somerset Capital) he was the senior co-manager for all GEM products. Mark is lead manager for the EM Small Cap fund.

Jacob Rees-Mogg - Lead Manager & Founder (19 years experience). Jacob graduated from Trinity College, Oxford, in 1991. After Oxford he worked at J. Rothschild Investment Management in London and from 1992 at Lloyd George Management in Hong Kong and from 1996 LGM London. It was here, with Edward Robertson, that Jacob pioneered Lloyd George Management's GEM product - growing it from $150m in 1998 to over $5bn when he left. Jacob founded Somerset Capital management in early 2007 and is head of Macro Strategy.

Edward Lam - Lead Manager, Dividend Growth Fund & Head of Research. Edward is a graduate of Downing College, Cambridge. Prior to joining Somerset, he was senior analyst at Lloyd George Management London covering Asia for GEM mandates, with a special focus on Taiwan. He joined Somerset Capital Management in November 2007 as head of EMEA and in 2008 became responsible for managing the research process. Since 2009 he has been the lead manager for the Dividend Growth fund.

Eric Tan CFA - Head of Asia - Singapore (16 years experience). Eric graduated from the University of Nebraska where he majored in Actuarial Science. After working as an analyst at Southern Bank in Malaysia, Eric joined HLG Asset Management, in 1996 becoming Head of Research and senior Fund Manager. Eric joined LGM in Singapore in 2002, becoming office head in 2006. Eric has managed a range of Asian portfolio mandates including small cap and absolute return. He joined Somerset Capital in December 2007 as Head of Asia and is responsible for managing our Singapore office.

Cressida Pollock - GEMs. Cressida graduated from Pembroke College, Cambridge in 2004. She studied law and was called to the Bar in 2007. She has also worked at the Financial Services Authority and interned at Lloyd George Management. She joined Somerset Capital Management as an investment analyst in April 2007. Cressida has responsibility for North Asian research.

Timothy Hay - Latin America. Tim graduated from Manchester University in 2003 where he read Economics. He started his career at Lloyd George Management in London later that year. At Lloyd George Management, he focused on EMEA markets assisting Edward Robertson on his award winning SIBINCo Russian fund. He joined Somerset Capital in January 2008 where he became head of Latin American research.

George Birch Reynardson - Asian Analyst (Singapore). George is a graduate of Oxford University and holds an MSc from the London School of Economics. He began his career at Somerset Capital in 2007 splitting his time between the operations department and the research department, reporting to Robert Diggle and Edward Lam. In 2010 he moved to our Singapore office under the direction of Eric Tan and is responsible for South East Asian research.

Oliver Crawley - European Marketing. Oliver graduated from Bristol in 2001. He went on to sell fixed income securities at Barclays Capital before joining Lloyds of London where he worked in both underwriting and marketing in London and Houston, Texas. Oliver joined Somerset Capital Management in May 2007 with special responsibility for European marketing.

Rosie Wintour - Client Services. Having graduated from Durham University in 2005 Rosie worked at Aramid Capital Partners LLP as a member of their Investor Relations team until 2010. She joined the team at Somerset in March 2010 and is responsible for client services.

Charlotte Colburn - Office Support. Charlie graduated from Leeds University in 2008 before joining the team at Somerset in February 2009. She is an essential part of the firm working to support the CEO and other members of the team on administrative tasks. Much of her role is to support the marketing team.

Robert Diggle - Chief Operating Officer & Compliance Officer Robert graduated from Selwyn College, Cambridge in 1992 and holds an MBA from INSEAD, Fontainebleau, France. Robert worked for the Cathay International Group, a China-based investment group, for over 10 years where he spent time in corporate finance. In 2000 he returned to Cathay's London Office where he held senior finance positions with responsibility for corporate governance and compliance. Robert joined Somerset when it was founded in 2007 and is the COO of the firm.

Peter Fiveash - Operations Peter has over ten years' experience in banking operations, having previously worked at The Bank of New York and Société Générale. He has specialist knowledge within the Emerging Markets sector and gained an IAQ qualification in investments in 2005. Peter joined the team at Somerset Capital Management in October 2009.

Fiona Tyrrell - Office Manager. Fiona has worked with the investment team since 2003 and is the partner responsible for the management of the office, and the smooth running of the structure of the business. She has been involved with Somerset Capital since founding in 2007 and plays a further key support role to members of the investment team.
